"The strangest thing about Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is that the film never spawned a sequel. Arizona-based screenwriter Rick Rapier is hoping to remedy that oversight with his new script, tentatively titled Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off. Tampabay.com has the first twelve pages of the new script for your perusal, should you be curious about what Ferris and Cameron have been up to over the past two decades.
The gist of it is that Ferris has taken his “live for the moment” credo and, with Cameron’s help, turned himself into a Tony Robbins’ styled life coach. As the script opens, Ferris is fabulously wealthy, but also just shy of his 40th birthday and feeling shackled by the golden handcuffs his work has placed around his wrists." --Movies.com (Click to read about how the script progresses, what studios are currently interested in picking the script up, and the link to the first twelve pages of the script.)
